Pedibus Challenge 2011
Would you be up for our Challenge for 2011? We have a Pedibus to be pedalled around Ryde Canoe Lake on Sunday 19th June, as part of our ‘Earl Mountbatten Hospice does National Bike Week’ event.
What is a Pedibus? It is ‘sociable cycling with a seating configuration similar to that of a dinner table. The Pedibus is the most fun and sociable way to cycle, chat and hang out with friends or people you have just met.’
You do not need to be the sporty type, as the Pedibus can be pedalled by just one person, if necessary. See www.pedibus.co.uk for more details.
We are looking for teams of 10 fun-loving folks to power themselves around the Lake for charity. You can add another dimension to the fun, by coming in Fancy Dress or bringing beverages (non-alcoholic) and snacks aboard the vehicle……or both! A deposit of £50 per team is required to secure a place and spaces are limited – so don’t delay! We are looking for each team to raise £300 in sponsorship, with all proceeds going to the Hospice.
