Name: Kieron Stewart
Age: 16
Who are you? I am a full time student, undertaking a International Diploma. From a young age I learnt that life is just too short to take for granted, and there are certain things I must do in my life. Cycling France has been on my list for some time, and to be able to do it for a good cause is a privilege. I am a very active person, taking the cycle training very seriously, though enjoying it. Sport is a big part of my life, teaching and playing for the Isle of Wight Basketball team, teaching Gymnastics’ following from gaining number one under 19 elite schools trampolinist in 2009 throughout England. I hope the money we raise really helps the Hospice.
Role: Cyclist
What you will bring to the event: I will bring enthusiasm to the team, trying to make the cycle fun and never allowing us to give up. This is a huge task, though for the cause this is in aid of, the ‘Earl Mountbatten Hospice, ‘I truly believe the effort we put in will be reflected in others lives. I was shocked at the scale the Hospice’s work force, the amount of effort, the time people give, and the price of running the Hospice. I am going to give my all in planning, publicity and getting the most out the challenge.
What you hope to gain from the event: I hope to have great time with my friends abroad all for a great cause. The organising will help me develop new skills with contacting companies and publicity for the challenge. I hope to achieve a real enjoyment from the challenge, with the help we bring to the Hospice and from such an opportunity
